It started with a stupid problem.
I was recording myself. Setting up my laptop camera, hitting record, walking to my spot, doing the thing, walking back, checking if I was even in frame. I wasn't. So I'd adjust, walk back, and try again. I repeated that five times every single time.
My phone has a great camera. It's always in my pocket. But every solution out there wanted me to download an app, create an account, pay a subscription, or deal with drivers that broke every other week. For something that should just work.
So I built Camcastar.
Open the dashboard on your laptop. Scan the QR code with your phone. That's it. Your phone is now a live wireless camera on your screen. No app. No login. No cable. Completely free.
